Experience a Unique Fallow Deer Hunt in a Private Game Reserve with an Experienced Hunting Guide.
This hunt takes place during the peak of the rutting season, creating an unforgettable atmosphere as the forests echo with the deep groaning calls of territorial males. Our goal is to harvest mature trophy animals with antlers weighing at least 3 kg.

Fallow deer (Dama dama) originally comes from Asia Minor, but has been present in Europe since ancient times. Romans first introduced the species to our forests, and it was later maintained by nobility during the Middle Ages. It is a social animal with an elegant appearance and its characteristic spotted summer coat.

The rut occurs in October, when males establish rutting grounds and attract females through vocalization while defending their territory from rivals. Behaviorally, the fallow deer is a vigilant and cautious species that requires a thoughtful and patient approach from hunters.

Weather
In October, expect daily temperatures ranging from 5 to 15 °C, morning fog, and the first autumn rains. We recommend layered, waterproof clothing for comfort during early morning and evening outings in the field.

During these two October days, we’ll experience the intensity of the fallow deer rut, when mature stags roar and defend their mating grounds – creating a powerful and unforgettable atmosphere in the forests of Western Slovakia.

Hunting takes place in a well-managed private hunting area, offering excellent-quality trophy game. Depending on the weather and game movement, we’ll hunt either from high seats or by spot and stalk.

Each hunter is paired with an experienced professional guide. The aim is to harvest mature fallow bucks with antlers weighing at least 3 kg.
